“Finally! An MMO that is not centered around VIP pay-to-win players. The community is amazing, friendly players. This game comes back to the RPG genre. No auto battle, no stage after stage of rehashed areas. I love the fact
that you can be self sufficient with crafting and gathering. You can also live in a village and have a house with animals and crops! Character customization is great. Really, a stand up game with longterm playability, hats
off to this company.”

“Optimized for phones! So far I’m loving this MMO. I have an HTC M8 and I’m getting 60+ FPS, this is the best optimization I’ve seen a team do with a game this BIG and tons of content. When I’m home I play on my Nvidia SHIELD
tablet and it looks amazing. I loved the dialog and interesting quests.”

On which devices can I play the game?
The game supports most modern iOS and Android devices.
The game supports Windows Vista/7/8/10. The game also plays on Linux, though without official support.
Is the game free?
Villagers & Heroes is free to download and play. There are in-game purchases, though it is possible to access all of the game's story content without spending any money.
What are the main differences between the PC and mobile version?
The PC and mobile versions are very similar, and you can make the same progress on either. No game content is locked out on either platform.
Can I play on PC and mobile with the same account?
Absolutely! One of the biggest feature of Villagers & Heroes is the ability to play seamlessly between mobile and PC. If you have a V&H account, you can log into it no matter what you’re playing on, and keep all your characters and progress. Note that Steam accounts cannot be used to log into the mobile version for legal reasons - if you are a Steam player who wishes to make use of the cross-platform functionality, you will need to create a separate account.
Can people on PC and mobile play together?
Yes - as mentioned above, anyone can play seamlessly between mobile and PC which also means that everyone can play together with everyone, as long as they are on the same server.
Can I be online on mobile and PC at the same time?
No. You have to log out before you can log into a different device – in the same way that you cannot play on two computers simultaneously.
Can I play without making an account?
On mobile, you can tap "Quick Play" to create an anonymous account, letting you try the game right away! If you later want to create your own account so you can keep playing on other devices and on PC, all your progress will be automatically transferred.
The game looks blurry!
On lower-end mobile devices the game decreases the resolution of the game so that it will run better. You can change this by going into the in-game settings and move the Pixelation slider further to the left, resulting in less blurring.
My framerate is poor!
To make V&H perform better on low-end mobile devices, you can lower the Graphic Detail and Pixelation sliders in the settings. This will allow the game to run smoother at the expense of graphical fidelity.
When I start the game on mobile, I see a gray screen!
This most likely means you have an incompatible device (using GLES2.0 or earlier, which V&H does not support). In most cases this prevents you from installing the game altogether, but sometimes a device slips through the cracks. We apologize for this
- generally the only way to get the game running in these cases is to install it on a more high-end device.
Who is making Villagers And Heroes?
Villagers & Heroes is developed by Mad Otter Games, an independent game studio located in Eugene, Oregon. See our website at www.madottergames.com
